Summary:
The Medically Assisted Treatment Assistant Coordinator's primary responsibility is to support the MAT program and care team members while building and maintaining positive and professional relationships with patients.
The MAT Assistant Coordinator is responsible for patients' experience along with the Medical Assistants and medical providers.
The MAT Assistant Coordinator performs a variety of organizational tasks between all sites at MCHC to keep everyone involved informed and compliant with current regulations.
The MAT Assistant Coordinator must have excellent customer service skills, as they will be communicating with the patient and their family members or friends.
The MAT Assistant Coordinator contributes to the overall success of the MAT program to help members of the community become successful in their treatment.
Job QualificationsEducation or Formal Training (Licenses/Certifications):
N/A
Experience:
Two (2) years' experience as a Medical Assistant or related role.
Experience working with Addiction Treatment preferred Language:
Bilingual:
English/Spanish, preferred.
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
Must have reliable transportation.
Travel:
Frequent local travel within Utah County with occasional long-distance travel, as required.
